The hotel staff were friendly and cute.
The key card system was frustrating, as we had to reset our cards almost every day.

Helpful staff.
Lack of Internet. They have one computer for guests in the lobby that is slower than the second coming. Pushing two made up single beds together does not make it a double.

Nicely presented hotel, caring and attentive staff, magnificent location close to the ocean. A nice size and newly remodelled rooms with a double bed with magnificent views...

Breakfasts are not bad, nice staff at reception, beach towels are available. Location ok relative to the center, Lido, the promenade.
But if the windows face the road - sleeping even with the door closed is not comfortable (better windows to the yard). The towels were not very clean.

Exploring Funchal's charm 🌴
Staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful, especially Sofia-she. The brekkie was nice, not gourmet, but it had enough to keep us happy every morning. The pool area on the 4th floor had lovely views-perfect for a good chill!
The mattress wasn't the most comfy I've experienced, could definitely be better.

The room was large, had private bathroom. Extra touches like a mini bar fridge, climate control and a personal safe were a treat, staff were excellent co-operating and excellent. It offered friendly service and incredible food too.

Nice and clean hotel. Continental breakfast, plenty of fruits, but lack of vegetables. Good location, close to public transport and surrounded by meny dining places. We were nicely surprised to find a bottle of chapmpagne in our room on our birthdays (twice :) ).
Only cable internet. The internet connection could be better (faster). But this is not very important if you are on vacation!

great views but some room for improvement
The room had a fantastic sea view. The staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection. Sitting on the balcony with that view was a highlight of my trip!
The air conditioning was a bit inconsistent, made some nights uncomfortable.

Everything is great about this hotel and Madeira is such a wonderful place. This hotel has everything and is such excellent value for money. The location is perfect, actually everything is perfect! The breakfast has plenty of healthy options.
The gym only has dumbells, if you want to lift heavy weights they only go to 10kg.

The Lince was very nice - our first three days were not good as there was sewer gas backing into our room. After the third night we asked to be moved to another room. There was no problem after that. The staff were excellent and the facilities rather good. Overall, a good experience. We spent two weeks there.
As I mentioned above, the only problem was solved by changing rooms.

The location could've been nicer, not central at all, and our supposedly superior room had a bathroom that was absoluteley smelly, like, come on! After paying for my stay upfront, i was really expecting a complimentary drink or something, but no, that was too much to ask. I almost thought about a good review but just couldn't.

The hotel was in a very good position with lovely sea views and balcony. The room was very big and very comfortable.
breakfast a bit lacking. No jams or preservatives and no museli. It was great for those who liked a cooked breakfast but I do not !!
